KMI/AMI Alumni New Year Party

KMI/AMI Alumni had a wonderful New Year Party at D. I. Cho's house on 1/29.

새해 복 많이 받으십시요. 오늘이 한국에서는 설날이니 이제 토끼의 해가 바야흐로 시작되었습니다.

지난 토요일 신년회에는 일곱 가정에서 모두 15명이 참석해서 재미있게 보냈습니다. 장소를 제공해 주신 조사장님께 감사드립니다. 저녁과 더불어 그동안 밀린 얘기도 하고 가라오께도 하고. 이번엔 노래자랑을 했는데 일등은 조사장님, 이등은 Mrs. 서문, 삼등은 이태희씨 께서 수상하셨는데 수상자에게는 푸짐한 (?) 상금이 현금으로 지급되었습니다 (1등 3 불, 2등 2 불, 3등 1 불. 이돈은 Mrs. 조 께서 희사하셨습니다). 조사장님께서는 모처럼 노래를 불러주셨는데 열창하셔서 1등을 하셨고, 2등 3등은 동점이 되어서 연장전 끝에 순위가 결정되는 접전을 벌였습니다. 이번에 수상 못하신 분들은 앞으로 일년 동안 열심히 가창 연습을 하셔서 다음 번에는 꼭 상금을 타시기 바랍니다.

And the prize went to these singers, after Play-off for the 2nd./3rd. prizes, as Mrs. Somoon and T. H. Lee had same points as the 2nd..
