Banff Trip

They left San Francisco Airport on 8/5 and flew to Calgary, Canada. They met Mr./Mrs. Deung-Il (Tony) Hwang, early ham radio friend in Korea (ex-HM1AY. VE6CGX now). Next day, they drove to Banff (1.5 hours drive) and stayed 3 nights there playing 3 rounds of golf at Kananaskis and Banff, visiting Hot Springs and taking Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain to overlook magnificent view of entire Banff area.

On 8/9, they drove Highway 93 to Jasper visiting several scenic spots on the way and stayed one night in Jasper. Next day, they drove down to Banff (4 hours drive) in the morning and played another late golf at Banff teeing off at 3:10 PM, as sun sets late there at around 8:30 PM.

They left Banff in the morning and had a great buffet lunch at the revolving restaurant of Calgary Tower at the center of Calgary on 8/11 before to head for Calgary airport and returned home with a great memory of the one of the best trip they have ever made.

This trip expense was paid by Willy as a part of his commitment he made at mother's Hwankap party in 2000 to send parents a trip every year. Many Thanks Willy!
