On the last day, we stopped at Shasta Lake to visit a small cavern there and St. Helena, just north of Napa Valley,
to have a nice dinner at Culinary Institute of America restaurant on the way back home.

This is Mt. Shasta observed driving Highway 97 from Klamath Fall to Highway-5.

Lake Shasta Cavern is not a special cavern, but we had time and it is on the way home.
They operate group tour every 30 minutes which takes about 2 hours.
(About 1 hour for round trip of boat/bus ride and about 50 min. actual cave tour.)

Our final stop - Wine Spectator Greystone Restaurant in St. Helena, north of Napa. This is Johnny's very favorite restaurant overlooking grape fields but very expensive place (We paid $180 for dinner of three of us). They serve unusual but great dishes as it is operated by Culinary Institute of America, the restaurant chef training school.

It was a great trip and we enjoyed very much. Johnny drove the car all the way from the start to the end and it was the first time for D. I. not taking the steering wheel at all during the whole trip !!
