From the "Two Medicine Lake", they drove the road called "Going to the Sun" which is at the middle of the park crossing the park east-west. On the way to the Logan Pass, almost middle point of the "Going to the Sun" road, they could see many mountains with glaciers at the top like the top picture. There were still very high snows on the road side as they approached to the Logan Pass, which is 6,646 feet above sea level. There was a Visitor Center at the Logan Pass and you could walk to the glacier field at the back of Visitor Center, if you are strong and brave enough (There were few people walking to the mountain.). As the road was closed at this point, they had to drive back the "Going to the Sun" road.
