Viking Grand Europe River Cruise

in Commemoration of 80th. Birthday

Phase-2  :  Amsterdam - Budapest Cruise (Day-14  Budapest)

Our Last Stop - Budapest of Hungary. We will leave the ship tomorrow mornig at 4:00 AM to take a flight at 06:30 AM for New Jersey via Paris. (4 hours waiting at Paris CDG airport.)

Budapest is very beautiful city with so many sculptures on the wall of every public buildings. (sometimes in personal residents too.) As Hungary was once occupied by Mongolian, there are some similar cultures left as Korea. I have ordered beef soup once in Budapest and it was exactly same as Yook-Gye-Jang of Korea.

Budapest was originally two cities seperated by Danube River. Now, they are one city. Tne name of the terrible disease "Pest" came from this city name "Pest", as it invaded Pest City and murdered majority of the people there a few hundred years ago.

One of the bridge connecting Buda and Pest.

Some kind of huge memorial plaza. As there is no English sign in spite of so many foreign visitors (majority of the people in the picture below must be foreigners), I have no idea what kind of plaza it is.

Same. I don't know who is the guy with sword on hand.

Inside of Cathedral very close to the Royal Palace.

You have to pay all toilets in Hungary too. Mostly 0.50 Euro (=80 cents in U.S. dollar)

A cup of coffee at a cafe after all itinerary is over.

Say good by to this ship.

This is the last day in this ship.
