They drove back home on the
third day (10/6) directly from Death Valley through same route they drove to
Death Valley. This is the east slope of Sierra Mountains taken on 10/6
coming out of Death Valley. There are no tree but rocks only, quite
different from west slope which has so many giant trees. They are all higher
than 9,000 ft (3,000m) at least and you can still see snows at the top in
spite it is the end of dry season expecting new snow very soon.
