Torrey Pines Golf Course is actually a municipal golf course operated by the city of San Diego. However, it is famous because the Buick Invitational PGA Tour is held here every year and it has a beautiful view of the Pacific Coast. It has two courses and although the picture above shows the South Course, the four golfers actually played the North Course, which is shorter and easier course than South Course. Because Torrey Pines doesn't take reservations directly but rather through an agent, it was very hard to get a tee time well in advance.
