GRANDFATHER  &  
OBERLIN COLLEGE

Our grandfather has been graduated at Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio in 1929. He was one of very few Koreans (less than 50? perhaps) who went to U.S.A. by that time. (Middle right in the picture - His Graduation Certificate. Click here for larger image.)

He had four children already when he went to U.S.A., three more were born after his return from Oberlin and our father was the last.

We visited Oberlin College in 1975, 46 years after his graduation - almost one half a century later (Lower right in the picture. - Click here for larger image.)
