Florida Trip - 2012

Part-2  :  In Apopka, Florida.

Three sisters got together and there were too many things to talk about. 
From left to right : Jane, Young-Hyuk who becomes 70 years young this year and Myung-Hyuk who is youngest and lives in San Jose.

As all of their kids - 3 daughters and 1 son, all married - and grandchildren arrived from New York and Boston areas by 3/11,
it was a big family and we had a big dinner at a Koywan Buffet Restaurant near-by.

On 3/12, as the party will be at the evening, we visited Legoland in Orlando with Myung-Hyuk couple. Originally, there was "Cypress Garden" until just a few years ago which we have visited in 1975 when our whole family made the first around the U.S.A. crossing continent trip. Recently Legoland purchased the Cypress Garden and installed much larger Legoland (about 5 times?) making the Cypress Garden a part of Legoland. 
Now Legoland is more children's playground and Cypress Garden became less popular to visitors.

This is called Miniland, all built by Lego pieces. Unless you look at closely, it doesn't look like a Lego product. They built Florida, Kennedy Space Center, Daytona Speedway, Pirates Shores, California, New York, Washington DC and Las Vegas. I can not figure out how many Legos they have used to build these displays but it was really amazing and beautiful products.

This is the entrance to old "Cypress Garden" with Myung-Hyuk couple. This signs are all made by Legos too.

This is the most beautiful view of the Cypress Garden. There was a beautiful  real lady, not a Lego lady, in 1975 when we visited the Cypress Garden last time taking pictures with visitors.

Wonderful tropical trees in the Cypress Garden.

What kind of tree is this? I don't know. Branches are grown vertically downward and it looks like they became roots too. This is just one tree.

Now is the main event. We had a great dinner party at the "Del Frisco's" Restaurant to celebrate birthdays of Young-Hyuk and Yo-Yoon both with all of their kids and grandchildren joined by us, Myung-Hyuk couple flown from San Jose and Do-Hyuk, her cousin flown from New York.

After the dinner at the "Del Frisco's" Restaurant, the party was continued at home including cake cutting.

Next day happen to be the birthday of Do-Hyuk, the cousin of Jane and sisters, and we celebrated his birthday on 3/13 before all return home.
