KMI Completed

Unlike other Korean companies, KMI did not have a typical cement brick fence, but rather a beautiful tree fence. Building was painted in white and light blue colors every year to symbolize the cleanliness of  facility and to promote a sense of cleanliness and peace of mind to all employees and visitors. The front yard had green grass with umbrellas, just like the American companies in U.S.. There was no Guard House at the entrance. The security staff at the entrance hall inside the building were trained to work as receptionist rather than as watchdogs. It was the first time these unusual features had been attempted in Korean manufacturing plants. The KMI management did their best to provide as peaceful and friendly an environment to all employees as possible, and to create a family-like company atmosphere.
