첫날은 오전에는 앞으로 만날 모든 사람들에게 전화를 걸어 앞으로의 schedule을 확인하였고, 점심시간에는 웅구네 식당에서 처가집
임씨의 가족들과 오래만에 만나 즐거운 시간을 갖었읍니다.
In the morning of
the first day in Seoul (10/14), I called everyone who were preparing my
meetings at various places and went to Willy's restaurant "Wink Kitchen and
Taphouse" to meet Jane's families (Im family)
이날 참석한 member들은 둘째언니부부와 구혁이댁인
세중엄마, 그리고 이번모임을 주관해 온 큰어니의 큰딸인 문재현, 처남 임보혁, 재현 남편 그리고
Members attended at
today's meeting were - Jane's 2nd. sister couple, Jane's deceased brother
Koo-Hyuk's wife, Jane's youngest brother Bo-Hyuk, Jae-Hyun couple,
the eldest daughter of Jane's eldest sister and
구혁의 큰아들 임세중, 둘째아들 임민중 그리고 딸 임성은
Koo-Hyuk's
eldest son couple, second son and daughter and
문재현의 아들, 큰언니의 아들 재황, 둘째언니의 아들 순구내외,
그리고 보혁이댁과 그들의 딸등 16명이 참석하여 대성황을 이루렀읍니다.
Jae-Hyun's brother
and son, Jane's 2nd sister's son Soon-Koo couple, Bo-Hyuk's wife and
step-daughter. Total 16 fsmilies.
큰언니는 고령에 행동이 자유스럽지 못하여 요양원에 들어가 있어서, 몇일후에 요양원으로 찾아가
인사를 하기로 하였읍니다.
The eldest sister
is in Senior Care Center as she is not healthy and we were going to visit
her a few days later.
저녁에는 명희의 남편 김재덕과 명희의 딸인 김효선의 가족들과 밖에서 만나 저녁을 한 후에
효선네 집에가서 밤늦게까지 환담을 나누다 돌아왔읍니다.
In the evening, We
met Myung-Hee's husband and their daughter Hyosun's family at a restaurant,
had a dinner together and went their home after the dinner. We talked about
old stories until late evening.
서울 제2일째인 10/15 일요일은 서울의 햄들과 만나는
날이었읍니다. HL1GN OM이 수고하시고, 사제까지 털어 이 모임을 마련하여 주셔서 정말 정말 감사합니다. HL1GN/DS1DPX 두
OMs는 L.A.에서 만났으며, KF0BI/KB0MWO PP가 New York에서 와서 반가웠고, 나머지 OMs는 모두 처음의
Eyeball QSO였는데, 정말 반갑고 즐거운 모임이었읍니다.
On the second day
in Seoul, we met hams in Seoul area. HL1GN arranged the meeting and paid the
dinner. We really appreciate what HL1GN did for us. We met HL1GN and DS1DPX
in L.A. last year and KF0BI/KB0MWO couple in N.Y.. All others hams were
first time meetings and we had a great time for hours.
 
오후 4시 넘어 까지 서울의 햄들과 재미있는 시간을 보낸 후에, 서울의
극심한 교통사정 때문에, 잠시 쉴 여가도 없이 시네로
들어가 퇴계로에 있는 동보성이라는 중국집에가서 조씨네 큰집 식구들을 만났읍니다. 이 모임은 항구가 주선하여, 온구엄마(동건)와 동현누나,
남혁이등 약 25명이 모여 성대한 파티가 되어 밤9시경 까지 반가운 인사와 재미있는 옛이야기로 꽃을 피었읍니다.
After we had a wonderful time with hams
until about 4:00 PM, we went to Dongbosung, Chinese restaurant in downtown
through terrible traffic problem of Seoul to meet Cho families. They were
mostly families of my uncle, my father's elder brother. Hangkoo arranged
this dinner party and we had another good time until 9:00 PM with 25
attendees.
